A Higher Standard of Veterinary Care in Marana
2025 Readers Choice Winner!
Your pet’s health is a story of trust. It’s a quiet promise you make to them, and one you look for in a veterinary partner. At Tangerine Pet Clinic, we’ve built our entire practice around honoring that promise. We are a local, independent Marana vet clinic offering highly personalized care for dogs and cats only, and we believe a calm, fear-free inspired environment isn’t a luxury—it’s the foundation of better medicine.
This is more than a clinic; it’s our commitment to you and the animals that make your family whole.

Our Fear-Free, Pet-First PhilosophyWe understand that for many pets, a vet visit is a source of fear. The Fear-Free philosophy is a science-based approach to veterinary care that seeks to eliminate that anxiety. It’s a commitment we live every day.
It means using non-slip surfaces so your pet feels stable and secure. It means our team avoids direct eye contact at first, allowing your pet to acclimate at their own pace. It means conducting exams on the floor if that’s where your dog feels safest, and providing quiet, private spaces for our feline patients. We use treats, toys, and gentle handling not as tricks, but as tools to transform the visit from a stressful event into a positive one. This is the essence of compassionate vet care in Marana. |

During that time, she also lived and studied at the University of Cambridge, Department of Veterinary Medicine, in the United Kingdom. After receiving her DVM, Dr. Estheimer returned home to Tucson to complete post DVM training, an Internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson, in Tucson, Arizona. She has been in general practice in Tucson ever since... Learn More >>
